IntegrityM to Present and Exhibit at HCCA Managed Care Compliance Conference
IntegrityM is pleased to announce that it will present at the Health Care Compliance Association’s 2019 Managed Care Compliance Conference at 11 a.m. on January 28, 2019 in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
Conference attendees will also have an opportunity to meet the IntegrityM team one-on-one to learn how we help our clients make more informed decisions and improve the way they do business. IntegrityM will be located at Booth #1 throughout the Managed Care Compliance Conference, January 27-30, 2019.
The IntegrityM panel presentation, “How Adequate Is Your Provider Network? Applying and Measuring Managed Care Provider Network Compliance Against the New 2018 Requirements” will explore key transition strategies; moving forward from the 2002 Network Access Rule and promote a greater understanding of CMS protocols, EQR requirements and state exceptions for evaluating Network Adequacy standards. Additionally, the panel will share best-practice recommendations for evaluating Network Adequacy requirements under government-approved auditing standards.
About the Presenters
Kimberly Hornik
Mrs. Hornik is the Vice President of Compliance and Administration at IntegrityM. Mrs. Hornik directs IntegrityM’s Compliance Program, ensuring adherence to federal regulations governing privacy, security, business conduct, and conflicts of interest. In addition, she is responsible for business development in the federal marketplace including identification, qualification, and capture of new business opportunities and partner relationship management. Prior to joining IntegrityM, Mrs. Hornik served as HMS Federal’s Federal Compliance and Privacy Officer and Contract Administrator where she was responsible for oversight, administration, and implementation of the HMS Federal Corporate Compliance Program. Mrs. Hornik has more than 18 years of Corporate Compliance experience and more than eight years in the Federal marketplace.
Mrs. Hornik possesses comprehensive knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid rules and regulations, and expert understanding of HIPAA and Federal Security and Privacy Controls, and a strong knowledge of Federal Government procurement processes including FAR, DCAA, and contracting vehicles. Kimberly earned a Bachelor of Science in Professional Management with distinction from Nova Southeastern University and her Juris Doctor Cum Laude from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the American Bar Association.
Michael Walsh
Mr. Walsh is a Senior Auditor with IntegrityM supporting Program Integrity Audit and Program Compliance initiatives. Prior to joining IntegrityM, Mr. Walsh was an Audit Manager with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of Inspector General (OIG). Mr. Walsh spent 38 years working with Federal OIGs, and has extensive experience evaluating performance outcomes against program goals and objectives, conducting complex audits including subject matters related to financial, program and compliance. His experience spans the entire spectrum of HHS, including Medicare, Medicaid, the National Institutes of Health, the Health Resources and Services Administration, the Food and Drug Administration, the Administration for Children and Families, and the Centers for Disease Control. Also, he has conducted nation-wide audits of State and local governmental agencies, hospitals, universities, and non-profit organizations.
Jennifer Tryder
Ms. Tryder is a Program Director at IntegrityM, with over 18 years of experience in the implementation and management of healthcare compliance, auditing, and oversight programs, specializing in Program Integrity and CMS Regulations. She has a strong understanding of healthcare data and State and Federal regulations including Medicare/Medicaid, HIPAA, ARRA, and HITECH. She also has proven ability developing successful programs that audit and assess compliance and risk-related vulnerabilities, based on industry and regulatory mandates. Ms. Tryder holds both an AHIMA RHIA (Registered Health Information Administrator) and HCCA CHC (Certified in Health Care Compliance) credential and has worked with in both the consulting and provider industries throughout her career.
